Brought to you by the VTAPTA, the CEU Locker provides secure, long term storage for your continuing education needs. Helping keep you organized and your practice protected, we hope you find our new system eases and streamlines the management and record-keeping required for VT state licensing requirements.

The new CEU Locker system is a shared system for many Physical Therapy Components that provides a fast, convenient centralized location to get approvals in several states by completing and storing your paperwork requirements only one time.

YOU CAN GET STARTED IN THIS SYSTEM BY CREATING A FREE CEU HOLDER ACCOUNT. ONCE YOUR EMAIL IS VERIFIED, YOU CAN ENTER COURSES TAKEN INTO YOUR CEU LOCKER DASHBOARD FOR SAFE RECORD KEEPING.

 

Course Approval

Beginning December 2017, all CEU Providers in Vermont will utilize our new CEU Locker system for making course approval applications, maintaining list of credits and submitting payments for all aspects of this process.

The new CEU Locker system is a shared system for many Physical Therapy Components that provides a fast, convenient centralized location to get approvals in several states by completing and storing your paperwork requirements only one time.

YOU CAN GET STARTED BY CREATING A CEU PROVIDER ACCOUNT HERE .

Course Approval Fees in VT:

  • $100 (1-3 hours)
  • $150 (3.1 - 7 hours)
  • $250 (7.1-14 hours)
  • $400 (>14 hours)

Vermont APTA Application for CCU Requirements:

  • COURSE INFORMATION: (The following must be uploaded into CEU Locker)
    1. Learning Objectives (objectives must be specific and measurable)
    2. Course Description
    3. At least 3 peer‐reviewed references for the presentation topic from a peer‐reviewed journal within the past 5 years. If there is no research in the past 5 years, provide at least 5 peer‐reviewed references within the last 10 years.
    4. Course Schedule/Outline with break time(s), instructional method, and contact hours
    5. Participant Evaluation of Program
  • PRESENTER INFORMATION:(The following must be uploaded into CEU Locker)
    • Current CV for all presenters (max 5 pages for each presenter). Address the following in each CV:
      1. Qualifications Consistent with Material Presented
      2. Research in topic presented, if applicable
  • CERTIFICATE REQUIREMENTS: (The following must be uploaded into CEU Locker)
    1. Course Sponsor is responsible for providing participants with a PROOF OF ATTENDANCE
    2. CERTIFICATE at the completion of the course (please upload sample). The certificate must include the following:
      • Participant's Name
      • Presenter's Name
      • Title of Program
      • Date(s) of Course
      • Location of Attendance
      • Number of Approved CCU's
      • Statement: "Approved by the Vermont Chapter of the APTA, a State of Vermont Office of Professional Regulation Approved Provider"
      • Competency Disclaimer Statement (an example would be: "This certificate establishes attendance in post‐graduate education and is not a statement of competence on the part of the participant. Information provided should be always be used within scope of practice and in accordance with State Practice Act.")
