UVM Pro Bono Clinic

Please Support UVM DPT Students' Pro Bono Clinic

In observance of MLK Day 2010, DPT students at the University of Vermont initiated the opening of a new pro bono physical therapy clinic at the Community Health Center of Burlington (CHCB).  The clinic is run by students and serves patients of the CHCB who are either uninsured or underinsured.  Licensed physical therapists from the community donate their services by supervising and guiding students in the examination and treatment of common musculoskeletal problems.  The clinic continues to seek volunteers who are willing to donate their time once a month.  Please e-mail
community.pt.committee@gmail.com  for more information.

Students would like to thank the following licensed physical therapists for their involvement:
• Susan Cromwell, PT, MS, NCS, of Fletcher Allen Health Care in Burlington
• Ali Hamedani, DPT, of Starr Farm Nursing Center in Burlington & Zippy Life Physical Therapy in Montpelier
• Louise Lynch, PT, CEES, CWCE, of Injury and Health Management Solutions in Colchester
• Stephen Rambur, PT, MM, of Phoenix Physical Therapy in South Burlington
• Sheila Reid, PT, MS, of Fletcher Allen Health Care in Burlington
