PTs needed in Haiti!

The APTA has a relationship with Handicap International in order to bring PTs to Haiti to help with rehabilitation efforts.  Click here for more information:  ../images/customer-files//haitihelp.pdf

The nurses’ union at Fletcher Allen Healthcare has been sponsoring teams of healthcare providers in Haiti since the earthquake happened. Teams typically go for 2 weeks, but a one week stay is possible.  The need in Haiti has moved from emergency care towards rehabilitation of the multitudes with fractures, amputations and nerve injuries. The need for PT and OT is huge. Our nurses and doctors have done an amazing job, but now it is PTs who are really needed.....
